Diversity reboot

Courtney Humphrey (she/her) is a DEI Specialist at 2U, an industry leader in education and technology that delivers high-quality digital education, expands access to world class online education and unlocks human potential. She has helped bolster access to employee business resource groups, diversity councils and DEI resources all across the company. Courtney is also a strong proponent of the company’s DEI values at the global and departmental level. Currently, she is the Membership Development Chair for 2U’s Black Engagement Network (BNet) where she collaborates with employees to bring cultural celebration, education, access, support and programming that amplifies the Black voice and encourages employee retention, belonging, psychological safety, professional development & advocacy, business innovation, and mentorship for Black employees and their allies. Courtney received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park (c/o 2016). She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Courtney has always been a huge proponent of “if you want certain conversations and changes to take place, you must be in the room and engage in those conversations.”
