With 10+ years of experience working for iconic brands like Lancôme, Kylie Skin, YSL, Byredo, and Giorgio Armani, Jakiya has honed her skills in branding, marketing, and business development. Her work has taken her around the world, and she has been featured in notable publications such as Oprah Magazine, Refinery29, HuffPost, Conde Nast Traveler, and more.
After simultaneously launching her signature program Hustle to Ease generating almost $2 million dollars in revenue for Black women entrepreneurs and acquiring clients like Spotify, Hennessy, and The NBA in under 3 years time, Jakiya launched The JBT Agency, to support both corporations and growing entrepreneurs to bring awareness to their brands with innovative strategies, and campaigns that impact, inspire, and sell.
Now she spends most of her time “hubbed” between NYC and Dakar executing her vision of creating ease in the business growth and storytelling process, the key to helping both the corporate & individual client create income, impact & legacy.
