Closing the AI Divide: Making Artificial Intelligence Work for Everyone

Upskilling & the Future of Work

What does it really mean to be AI literate in 2025 and who gets left behind when literacy efforts fall short? In this fireside chat, Susan Gonzales, founder of AIandYou and one of the foremost voices in the global AI literacy movement, shares what she's learned from bringing AI education to thousands of everyday people across the U.S. Drawing on her work advising the Biden White House, UNESCO, and the World Economic Forum, Susan explores how communities, policymakers, and organizations can close the growing AI knowledge gap before it widens into a full-blown digital divide. Equal parts visionary and pragmatist, she'll offer a candid look at what inclusive AI literacy actually requires and what all of us can do to move the needle.

Susan Gonzales

Susan Gonzales is a recognized leader in the global movement for AI literacy. With a tech policy career spanning over many years in Silicon Valley and Washington, D.C., she leverages deep tech expertise and policymaker relationships to advocate for a more inclusive digital future.
