Isabel Kloumann (She/Her)

Isabel Kloumann founded the Responsible AI Fairness team in 2018 and supports fairness engineering and AI research. Her team’s mission is to ensure Meta AI products work well for all user groups and do not amplify societal biases. Her background is in applied math, machine learning, and network science. She completed her Ph.D. in Applied Math at Cornell University working with Jon Kleinberg and Steven Strogatz, and her undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont in Physics and Math. She lives in Burlington, Vermont with her husband and three children ages four and under.
