Does talking about money and asking for what you want make you feel a bit nervous? Let Keni W. Dominguez (Founder, Workplace Strategist) and Nancy J. Lewis (President, Progressive Techniques, Inc.) help provide strategies around navigating those conversations. She is the president of Progressive Techniques, Inc. based in Fayetteville, Georgia where the theme of her organization is “Developing a Better YOU!” She earned a M.S. degree from Georgia State University in Urban and Public Affairs with concentration in Human Resources. Nancy has worked as an adjunct faculty instructor at Georgia State University where she taught an undergraduate Human Resources course. She has been speaking and conducting training for 30 years. Nancy is a former Dale Carnegie instructor. Our mission is to transform organizations by helping people achieve their full potential and walk in their destiny. Nancy conducts dynamic keynotes and seminars on diversity and inclusion, leadership, unconscious bias, human resources and personal development. She delivers customized, energizing, interactive, and content-rich presentations that provide strategies for everyday living. Nancy is a business coach and works with executives and managers to help them transform and enhance their careers. Nancy is certified in Cultural Intelligence and Unconscious Bias with the Cultural Intelligence Center. Nancy is also certified in Emotional Intelligence.
Nancy is featured in the 2019 edition of Who’s Who in Black Atlanta, “The Ultimate Networking Guide.” Nancy is certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). Nancy is the host of the television show, Conversations with Nancy J. on WATC-TOO where she talks with business professionals about life, career and business and highlights ordinary people doing EXTRAordinary things.
Nancy is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is active in many community and civic organizations in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Nancy is the co-founder of Transforming Women Entrepreneurs (TWE), a forum for entrepreneurs and professional business women which has evolved with a yearly annual conference every March.
Keni W. Dominguez
Sanmaya MohantyKeni Dominguez is a workplace culture strategist, speaker, and career coach for Black womxn and other womxn of color introverts, with over ten years of leadership experience in People Operations/HR. She is a certified court mediator, a Predictive Index (PI) partner, and a talent optimization specialist, aligning people strategy with business strategy to maximize results. She also volunteers as a pay equity advisor for 81cents. Keni is the advocate you want in your corner.
She attended UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. She specializes in Work Law, an integrated study of the laws and policies governing the workplace, the labor market, and the legal relationships between businesses and workers, including the regulation of work and the problems of inequity, insecurity, and discrimination in the workplace.
As a fierce advocate and ardent believer in a people-first philosophy, she is passionate about workplace issues related to gender, racial equity, and how those issues emerge for Black and other WOC introverts. Keni was cited in multiple press pieces on platforms, including HuffPost, Washington Post, Apartment Therapy, Rolling Out, HushLoudly podcast. She is also a DEI partner with Power to Fly.
Maryella Marie
Sanmaya MohantyMaryella Marie [she/her] is a renaissance womxn and social impact multimedia producer who has spent a decade working with diverse technologists, independent artists, and divergent innovators across the globe to deepen their audiences’ emotional intelligence.
You can find her at The Positive Force Team curating and facilitating masterclasses and workshops centered around emotional intelligence, equity, and creative leadership; producing mindful collaborations between artists and organizations in the Americas to build bridges and inspire positive social impact, and creative directing the “Brainwashing” radio series featuring counter-culture conversations, storytelling, ASMR, and independent music from heart-full thought-leaders, visionaries, and independent artists around the world.
