Helping AAPI Youth Develop Solid Identities and Build Cross-Cultural Bridges
Celebrating Global Asian and Pacific Islander Identities
They ARE the future—and they need our support as they navigate an adolescence that is totally different than ours was. In this talk, Randy Yang, Learning and Development Executive and youth advocate, talks about the types of support that AAPI youth need now in the face of increasing anti-Asian hate crimes and “tiger mom/dad” stereotypes. With our help, AAPI youth can develop healthy self-esteem grounded in their cultural identities, and make meaningful contributions within our organizations and communities.
