Liana Steir is an HR leader at Axios who describes her role as: ‘working to make this the best job her colleagues have ever had’. She launched her career with stints in the non-profit and start-up world, where she discovered the importance and impact of the employee experience. Mindful and inspired by DEI practices, Liana aims to build work environments where employees' voices are valued and heard as companies scale. The proud daughter of a single mom, Liana is keen to share the career lessons she’s learned to help others navigate their careers.
