Mike Slagh is founder & CEO of Shift, a mission-driven team advancing the careers of military members past and present. Shift builds military talent assessment programs for the Department of Defense and has also helped 100+ private sector companies start or grow veteran hiring initiatives.

Prior to founding Shift, Mike was a bomb disposal officer serving the Naval Special Warfare, Counter-IED, and Foreign Internal Defense mission areas. Before his military service he co-founded ID.me, a company that simplifies how individuals securely prove and share their identity online. Mike is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and the Harvard Kennedy School.
