Director Of Strategic Partnerships at Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement

Stefany Jacobo is a driven, intentional, and dedicated leader. She currently serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement and leads the cultivation of relationships with over 120 corporate, government, and nonprofit partners. Stefany also leads HACE’s recruitment initiatives and has increased the number of employers leveraging HACE’s membership for recruitment opportunities. Stefany’s goal at HACE is to increase visibility and funding for the organization by raising awareness on the importance of hiring, developing, and promoting Latinx talent.

Stefany immigrated from Mexico to the U.S. at the young age of ten years old. Like many first-generation college students, Stefany struggled with the lack of access to resources and role models. This experience opened her eyes to social and educational inequities. Since then, she has taken this experience as a personal purpose as she strives to be a resource to others in her community and beyond.

Prior to HACE, Stefany worked at the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute as the Finance and Development Coordinator. There, she was dedicated to implementing accounting and finance strategies in alignment with the organization’s mission and objectives. In addition to her financial responsibilities, Stefany was a key person for USHLI’s Student Leadership Summit. She engaged, organized, and executed student leadership events with over 70 high schools every year.

Stefany was the 2016 Miss US Latina and was recognized as Negocios Now “40 Under 40” in 2021. She continues to pursue her passion for DEI, making every effort to ensure that positive changes are made toward creating a more inclusive workplace for all. Stefany empowers her colleagues to lead at the intersection of identity, equity, and unity by fostering their individuality and differences.
