Laughter & Listening: Tools for Better Leadership & Community Building
Reboot: Celebrating Global Asian and Pacific Islander Identities
Everyone likes to have a good laugh. Is it possible that something that feels so good also has the power to break down barriers and build community? Comedian Steve Lee thinks so. In this session, he’ll talk about how he went from growing up with a physical disability in Hong Kong, to performing for crowds around the world, and how listening and humor go hand in hand to become better leaders and bring teams together.

Steve Lee
Bridget FinkeldeySteve Lee, a trilingual Stand-up Comedian in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. He is also a disabled motivational speaker and actor working in the US and Hong Kong. His comedy is centered around his experiences in both continents dealing with discrimination, and his content is remarkably original. He believes we are all equal - equally ignorant, fallible, weird, and desiring freedom. For Steve, comedy is a way to get people - including himself - to laugh about our own shortcomings and problems.
