What type of candidates are on PowerToFly?

82% of the candidate profiles are mid-career and above (5+ years experience), with 39% and 35% coming from Engineering & Technical and Sales & Marketing functions, respectively. The PowerToFly platform is a mix of profiles that are “active” (those who have logged on and created a PowerToFly profile) and “unclaimed” (profiles created from publicly available information), and on average, about 2,500 profiles are converted to “active” monthly. Contact us at answers@powertofly.com to request more information.

What are PowerToFly’s fees?

What is a Company Page?

Having a Company Page on PowerToFly enables you to highlight what makes your company an amazing place to work for diverse talent by showcasing available jobs and content that will give your employer brand a lift. Add the best number of licenses so your recruiting team can search and message these women directly. Our customer success team will train you on best practices on how to reach and engage these women. And we find that our clients who follow our recommendations see an over 40 percent response rate.

What are the requirements for creating a branded company page?

You can easily represent your company’s brand and showcase your diversity hiring initiatives by customizing your company page on PowerToFly. Upload a high-quality cover photo (minimum 1920x 450 pixels), add a company logo (minimum 400 x 400 pixels), and highlight your company benefits by adding text and images to your page.

How does your matching algorithm work?

Our algorithmic matching capabilities compare a candidate’s self-posted skills to your company’s posted job descriptions.

Do you offer ATS integration?

PowerToFly currently integrates with Greenhouse.io. Our recommended best practice is to set up PowerToFly as a candidate source in your applicant tracking system and deliver job postings via XML feed, which ensures your postings stay up to date and you can track candidates coming from PowerToFly. PowerToFly’s Customer Success and Development teams will work with you to identify the best implementation method.

Are outside recruiters allowed to attend PowerToFly events?

All community members are welcome to attend PowerToFly events regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender identity, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, or age. If you require accommodation to fully participate in one of our events, please email talentgrowth@powertofly.com, and we will contact you to discuss your specific needs.

Remote Job Board
Why do I have to input my credit card number for the Remote Job Board?

Registering your credit card gives you access to our candidate pool, the ability to post jobs and allows you to complete the hiring process. It also helps us validate whether you’re a legitimate customer.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can. Canceling your subscription to the Remote Job Board will stop further billing and remove your access to the platform at the end of your current cycle, or according to your existing contract terms.

How do I post a job?

It’s very easy. Simply log in or sign up as an employer and go through the job posting wizard to post a job. You will not be able to view applications until you have selected and paid for a specific subscription plan. Once you are a paying customer, you will be able to perform comprehensive talent searches, send messages to applicants and receive messages from talent interested in the position you have posted. 

What qualifies as a remote job?

A job that offers candidates the flexibility to work remotely 50% or more of the time qualifies as a remote job.

How do I know I’m hiring the right person?

It all starts with what you are looking for as a hiring manager. We recommend a clear and concise job post. Interested candidates can apply to your job with a short cover letter. You will have access to profiles, where you can review a candidate’s:
