Bridget FinkeldeyJanice has over 25 years’ experience working for a range of charities and social businesses, developing, and managing large scale projects. At World Jewish Relief Janice manages the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) in partnership with local charities and local government. STEP is an award winning programme and delivers the largest programme for refugee employment support in the UK. In 2021 with a group of refugee support organisations Janice set up the Refugee Employment Network (REN). REN's members are a combination of NGOs, Local authorities and employers. REN aims to ensure that every refugee in the UK can access appropriate, fulfilling, paid employment or self-employment. Janice was awarded an MBE for services to refugees in the June 2019 honours list.
