Now that we’ve all seen the inside of each other’s home offices on Zoom (and maybe even supported each other through pandemic meltdowns?), our work selves and personal selves are more integrated than ever. The mindful leader is aware of this, and responds by facilitating practices that support employee health and wellness, allowing employees to bring their whole selves to work. In this talk, health and wellness educator Pete K. Wong explains the role of mindfulness in regulating workplace stress, creating a safe space for vulnerability, and practices that support workplace health and wellness.

Pete K. Wong, is a health and wellness educator and podcast host. A two time suicide survivor, he shares through his personal experiences and passion the practice of self care through training the mind and body using the martial way. Utilizing the techniques and principles found in boxing, martial arts, yoga, and meditation, Pete has taken his years of training in these various disciplines and is now giving back to the communities. You can also listen in on topics about mental health and wellness with Pete and his guests on The Pete Wong Podcast.

Raised in the outer canyons of Los Angeles, Hunter has been a professional actor in New York for the past decade. Notable credits include Broadway’s War Horse (Lincoln Center), Blue Bloods (CBS), The Baker & The Beauty (ABC) and Ray Donovan (Showtime). A career that has seen dizzying heights, all the while remaining with his two feet on the ground.
