Luciana Salles (they/them)
Luciana supports the development and adoption of innovative internal digital products that leverage AI, ML, and the latest in workplace collaboration tools. With expertise in prompt engineering, UX/UI, and agile methodologies, a certificate in product management from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University, they work to consistently improve the employee experience with each digital product they manage. As a co-founder of the Voz Latina Employee Resource Group and Brazilian, they leverage their passion for inclusion and belonging, internally and externally, to advance the Hispanic and Latinx communities. Their professional experiences have granted them many honors for their impact, such as being featured on the 2020 list of 100+ Latinos CLE Must Know, earning two Avery Dennison Leadership Excellence Awards, speaking at two Google Gemini at Work events, and being a verified HLX+ speaker.
Johanna Rodriguez
Johanna is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership, large-scale negotiations, and strategic planning. As the Global Director of IT Sourcing and Vendor Management at Avery Dennison, she is recognized for her innovative approach to business challenges and her ability to foster successful vendor partnerships. A leader in AI integration, she is passionate about leveraging technology to drive efficiency and growth. Her career spans multiple industries, including roles at other Fortune 500 companies such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation, where she honed her expertise in negotiations and vendor management. She is known for leading high-impact initiatives and delivering results that align with business objectives. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Johanna serves as an executive sponsor for her company’s Latinx ERG, Voz Latina, and has led the DEI education and awareness pillar. As an inaugural member of the North America Diversity Council, she champions diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. Outside of work, Johanna is a devoted wife and mother, balancing her family life with her professional pursuits. She is also committed to personal well-being as an avid runner. With a strong dedication to AI, technology, and DEI, Johanna continues to lead with purpose and vision, constantly seeking opportunities to innovate and empower others.
Yamatzy De León-Mettee
Yamatzy De León-Mettee is the Employee Resource Group (ERG) Program Manager for Avery Dennison.
In this role, she advances the company's commitment to DEI and the success of ERGs by creating, evolving, and maintaining operating rhythms to support the ERG program's strategic goals and ensure it functions seamlessly. Yamatzy partners closely with ERGs, ERG executive sponsors, DEI regional leads, DEI Councils, and business leaders to ensure strong ties to DEI strategy and pillars while enabling collaboration between ERGs and amplifying their effectiveness to lead to great outcomes.
With over 25 years of experience, Yamatzy led and managed DEI, Human Resources, and Marketing efforts for several Fortune 500 companies. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri and her executive MBA from Kent State University.
Yamatzy is driven to create an equitable workplace for all and to leave the world better for future generations. She has a passion for social impact activities, volunteering with a variety of organizations and serving on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations.
A native of Panama, Yamatzy is a long-time resident of Northeast Ohio. She and her husband, Chris, and their two children enjoy traveling and embracing new cultures.
