On March 13th, 2019 PowerToFly collaborated with Cisco Meraki, the IT leader in cloud networking, to present an invite-only event for women in tech sales.
Held at Cisco Meraki's Headquarters in Mission Bay, attendees were ushered into a room boasting stunning views of the Bay Bridge. The community of saleswomen came together for one of the most engaging and authentic conversations we've had yet. Leaders shared knowledge, best practices and strategies for overcoming professional challenges, as well as celebrating successes.
The evening kicked off with a welcome address by Cisco Meraki's Director of Talent, Brad Dalton , and centered around a panel discussion, moderated by PowerToFly's Cristina Duke, which featured several of Cisco Meraki's women sales leaders including:
- Stasia Cotsones, Demand Response Manager
- Shelley Carlberg, Senior Manager, Sales Strategy and Planning
- Liz Rothenberg, Mid-Market Account Executive
- Lia Almanzar, Consulting Systems Engineer
During the panel, Mid-Market Account Executive Liz Rothenberg even received an applause break for sharing her strategy in closing a challenging up sell. The event also included plenty of opportunities for our attendees to network over food and drinks and to meet additional members of the Cisco Meraki management team.
