Level up your career at the Salesforce sales recruiting team

You can grow your career at Salesforce. Watch the video to the end to learn how to flourish there.

If a career at Salesforce is what you are looking for, then this video is what you need. Andre Norman, senior sales recruiter and equality talent partner at Salesforce, shares what they do and the day-to-day in recruitment.

A career as a recruiter at Salesforce requires some soft skills that will greatly help you. Interpersonal communication and empathy are essential as you will work with many people. Every day you'll be talking to candidates and hiring managers, plus your manager and colleagues. So you want to have that ability to communicate across various parts of the business and different types of people. This is a tough job. You'll be working with a lot of rejection. So being able to get up every single day and do this job takes passion.

Your career at Salesforce will require you to have a full schedule every day. Recruitment is fast-paced, so you must set yourself up for success in advance. You'll talk to many candidates and have stakeholder relationships and meetings. You'll also have enablement sessions to learn and grow within the space. You'll need an organized calendar because it can get busy. You can get a bunch of Slack messages, emails, and curveballs, and you want to make sure you're able to organize your day and understand what's important; what needs to be done now; what's important but can do later; and then what's important but can be put off for a little bit longer.

A successful career at Salesforce benefits from a diverse team

Studies have shown that hiring diverse candidates increases innovation within an organization. Bringing people together from different walks of life with varying thoughts, opinions, and ideas leads to more creativity and improved performance. When you focus on someone's competencies, skills, and abilities instead of what names are on their resume, you can access a larger talent pool of more qualified candidates. So hiring diversity is about creating a better, more creative, and higher-performing workforce.
