NASCAR

In 2023, NASCAR announced its first long-term sustainability goal, a commitment to achieving net zero operating emissions by the year 2035. The announcement coincided with the launch of NASCAR IMPACT, an umbrella platform designed to align and advance the sport’s collective efforts around sustainability, community engagement and other impact-driven social initiatives.

As NASCAR makes gains in these strategic areas, progress towards key goals and objectives will be published as part of an annual NASCAR IMPACT Report. This report will measure total impact across sustainability, inclusion, community engagement, STEM education, veteran services and other impact-related programs.

At impact.com, we’re dedicated to environmental and social responsibility daily. However, as a global company we dedicate an entire week toward a "Global Week of Service" where employees can take paid time off to do our part and give back. Across the globe our employees have participated in some life changing acts of service for communities and the environment.

Volunteering efforts - our team in:

  • Japan // chose to donate children's clothes and toys
  • London // the team donated blood and also put together Care Packages for a local Homeless Shelter
  • Indonesia // donated blood as a team
  • Cape Town // a team of dedicated knitters worked for weeks to create 267 squares that will be sewn together to create warm blankets for those in need.
  • California Office - Team did trash pick up at public beaches and national forests.
  • Ohio Office - Volunteered at Mid Ohio Food Bank

Workiva is dedicated to building a better world. In 2023, we achieved operational net zero emissions across Scopes 1-3, marking a key step toward a low-carbon future. We foster a supportive work environment through diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) initiatives, with over 82% engagement in DEIB training and 50% participation in Business Employee Resource Groups. Employees are encouraged to give back with 24 hours of paid volunteer time off.
