Women have long driven success at Pitney Bowes. This includes the many drivers and logistics professionals who keep our business running - and also contribute mightily to our award-winning culture. Nicole Pierzina, our Director of Outsourced Freight, recently led a group of our colleagues to the Women in Trucking Accelerate! Conference in Dallas, Texas. Enjoy this team report!

It was exciting to recently join a group of my Pitney Bowes peers at the Women in Trucking Accelerate! Conference in Dallas, Texas, alongside nearly 2,000 attendees and industry thought leaders. Our team had the opportunity to join other transportation and supply-chain professionals working on personal and professional development. We engaged in meaningful discussions, shared challenges, and learned about the latest industry trends and innovations. It was also a great opportunity to bond with some of my Pitney Bowes Transportation team members.

A Class A license holder since 1998, when Lavonda joined our Presort Services business in 2021, she would drive a box truck when needed. “I enjoyed driving and I enjoyed doing well in a male-dominated field. We’ve come a long way.”
