HashiCorp

HashiCorp's Early Career Program kicked off when our first class of interns joined us in Summer 2021.

The program seeks a diverse pool of interns from a wide variety of educational institutions and includes professional and personal growth opportunities to help them grow into future, full-time employees.

We offer a formalized university hiring program to bring on interns during the summer every year. At this time, we focus on incoming Seniors (current Juniors) in hopes of converting them to full-time employees the following year.

ScienceLogic

ScienceLogic offers a variety of paid internship opportunities across all departments. Our intern program includes formal in-person and remote learning opportunities, career development, along with a final project.

But it doesn’t end there! Our summer Intern Program serves as a pipeline for our annual College Hire Program which aims to:

  • Create a strong network of college hires
  • Introduce what our company does and how we talk about it
  • Provide an overview of our product and what problems it solves for our customers
  • Reflect on our core values
  • Introduce the different departments and discuss how they all cross-collaborate

Stryker

Stryker is proud to offer a variety of early career opportunities, including internships, sales-trainee programs, apprenticeship programs, rotational programs, and internal mentorship programs to help develop employees as they begin their new journey.

Our internships are geared toward current college/university students looking to gain hands-on experience in the workplace.

As an intern at Stryker, you won’t be delegated to coffee duty, our interns are given projects designed to challenge their knowledge, build their network, and help set the foundation to build careers on.

We are excited to offer many post-graduation programs focused on specific career fields including, finance, sales and marketing, engineering, leadership, and more. These programs typically last 12 months to 4 years. Programs are comprised of different elements based on the functional area but often include official training, rotating through different areas of our business, job shadowing, and formal projects, these elements provide our participants the opportunity to build valuable global networks and experiences to grow their careers.

In addition to dedicated early career programs, we offer a number of formal mentorship opportunities sponsored by our Employee Resource Groups (ERGS) including Stryker’s Emerging Professionals (SEP). SEP is committed to engaging, supporting, and inspiring the next generation of professionals through networking, community impact, and individual development.

We partner with CareerTrackers, a program that supports Indigenous students to accelerate their professional development via paid, multi-year internships to help them achieve full-time employment on completion of their university degree.

We're a certified Family Friendly Workplace. In addition to offering flexible working options, we offer parents returning from parental leave the option to work part-time at full pay for the first four weeks and a stipend to pay for items like breast pumps and office equipment.

Atlassian

PagerDuty

PagerDuty offers an internship program, Career Accelerator Program (CAP), and a rotational program, Leadership Development Program (LDP), that gives early talent development and leadership opportunities.


As part of LDP, new graduates complete a 27-month road map consisting of three, nine-month-long rotations across various functions.

Although CAP currently focuses on Engineering and Product and LDP operates within the People Team, the goal of both these programs is to expand into additional areas of the business. As a company, CAP and LDP help us to identify top talent early and provide a direct pathway to full-time employment with PagerDuty.

Duck Creek Technologies

Early career opportunities with Duck Creek include our paid summer internship program and full-time roles that support individual growth and career development. Our internship program includes training, mentorship, executive exposure, and group projects. Duck Creek has five employee resource groups including our Black Resource Group, Women’s Resource Group, Volar, Veterans Resource Group, and Emerging Leaders Employee Resource Group.

Emerging Leaders is made up of individuals who encourage professional growth by learning from one another and by building bridges across different generations. For January’s National Mentorship Month, they will host opportunities to elevate the power of supportive and meaningful mentor relationships.

Built-in mechanisms for support and personal growth are pivotal for those early in their career or returning to the workforce. Our Personal Growth Plans help identify goals and proactively plan how to achieve them, and our #personal-growth-cohorts in Slack encourage Zapiens to prioritize their growth.

If folks need/want additional skills, our Conference & Education budget and Learning & Development resources enable them to develop and/or refine any skill they need. And for added support, all Zapiens can opt into internal coaching. Coaches act as sounding boards, share feedback on growth plans, and help folks settle into their work.
